Labor and Birth
Labor and birth care is provided in your home with your chosen support people and according to your birth plan. Care includes clinical monitoring of client's well-being and labor progress, monitoring fetal well-being, birth in the place and position you choose, waterbirth if desired, immediate postpartum care, complete newborn assessment, filing for birth certificate and social security card, and emergency management and medications if indicated.
Postpartum Care
Postpartum care for you and baby begins at birth and continues for up to six weeks postpartum. We will stay with you after your birth until you and baby are both stable. Postpartum care includes physical exams, assessment of feeding, breastfeeding support, advice on healing, nutrition, social support, and referrals.
